Growing company targets fund service providers with roadshow

It’s been a busy year for Pacific Fund Systems Limited. The software company develops and distributes what it describes as a global fund administration ‘solution’ called PFS-PAXUS. The business was established in 1998 and in addition to their Hong Kong and Sydney offices, set up their European headquarters in the Isle of Man in 2015. The Isle of Man team head up the global sales and marketing efforts of the group and have enjoyed an excellent year, exceeding growth targets and signing a record number of new clients. PFS’ sales and marketing manager, Kelly Ashe, said: ‘We recently launched a planned series of global roadshow events which commenced this year and will continue throughout 2018, with the aim of targeting fund service providers globally. ‘Following successful events held in Jersey and Guernsey during the summer, our latest event took place in Port Louis on the island of Mauritius. ‘Mauritius is a fast growing financial services domicile, supported by its high calibre workforce, efficient cost base and ease of gateway access to European, African and Asian markets. ‘With fund administration services also now on a steep growth curve in the region, Mauritius was a perfect location to introduce our system to new prospects as well as taking time to meet with a number of our valued clients in the region’. In a year that also saw the flourishing company win three important milestone industry accolades, the roadshow event programme has been complemented by a complete redesign and launch of a range of new product brochures, including a fully redesigned website and a series of new corporate videos. The Pacific Fund Systems team also announced a new cloud based ‘Software-as-a-Service’ offering which will be ready for launch in early 2018. PFS-CLOUD is the latest development by PFS which will enable PFS to provide both new and existing clients with an enhanced range of hosting options, providing opportunities to mitigate IT costs, improve flexibility and increase focus on core business activities without compromising security or user experience. Increasing their presence on the island locally, the company has made a number of high profile appointments over the last few months. It also continues to grow with a number of open positions for both experienced and trainee accountants to work within the existing support team. Chief operating officer, Paul Kneen said: ‘Pacific Fund Systems will continue to leverage the benefits of our European headquarters as we pursue an active marketing strategy focused on the expansion of our global client base.’ Source: IOMToday
